Beyond Behavior K9 Training focuses on reliable results that not only improve your dog's obedience but builds their confidence and reduces anxiety. Our training programs will help you gain a better understanding of your dog while giving you the tools and confidence to lead them effectively. Together, we'll develop strategies for success that strengthen your bond, make daily life smoother and allow you to have more fun with your dog every day!
Foundations
The Foundations training program provides personalized one-on-one sessions tailored for your dog, while also providing you with the support and guidance needed to achieve your training goals. Each weekly session (1x/wk) will focus on how your dog learns, strategies to fulfill their natural drives and uncovering the motivation behind their behavior. You'll gain practical tools for reinforcing learning at home. ​

Ideal for dogs without behavioral issues such as anxiety, fear, aggression, reactivity. The number of sessions needed to achieve training goals may vary depending on your dog's current behavior and your consistency with homework.
Essentials
The Essentials training program offers personalized training designed to build your dog's confidence, manners and overall obedience. Your dog will stay in our home-based training facility for focused training and skill development Monday through Friday. You'll receive guidance, support and tools to continue training at home over the weekend.

Two week program: $2000
Two Monday - Friday sessions, one weekend of homework. Best for dogs with some basic manners, not overly reactive and no signs of aggression. Training will focus on leash manners, respect, crate training, e-collar conditioning and more.

Three week program: $3000
Three Monday - Friday sessions, two weekends of homework. Best for dogs who are reactive, easily distracted or need a little more training. In addition to above, training will include outings and off-leash reliability.
Board & Train
The Board & Train program is a comprehensive training that provides your dog with the structure and focus they need to be successful. During their stay, your dog will receive daily one-on-one training sessions focused on core commands, obedience and building confidence, along with walks, outings, play time and socialization with other dogs and humans. Owners will receive regular updates during the stay and personalized instruction and tools to prepare for the transition home. This program provides a solid foundation for long-term growth and strengthens the bond between you and your dog.

Puppy Program
The Puppy program is designed for pups as young as 8 to 12 weeks old (ideally before they reach 6 months old) and grow with them through their first year. Training begins with basics such as crate training, obedience commands, potty training and understanding structure. Over time we will build their confidence (and yours!) as we expand their skills and manners. As with all our training programs, they'll get lots of playtime, socialization and love too!
The Puppy Training program includes:

Stay in our home-based training facility Monday - Friday for personalized training. Owners receive a two-hour one-on-one training session at Friday pick up.

One-hour private training session to be scheduled between week-long stays.

Around the age of 6-9 months, your puppy will return for a two-week stay for their next phase of training. Owners receive two additional one-on-one two-hour "go home" training sessions.

Training in a home environment helps dogs feel comfortable and relaxed, making it easier for them to focus and learn. Unlike group classes in a park or kennel-style settings, the home atmosphere minimizes stress and distractions while more closely reflecting the real-life situations your dog will encounter every day. This allows for more natural learning, smoother transitions back into your home, and stronger, longer-lasting results. When your dog stays with us, they don’t just train—they join the family!

Details

A 50% deposit is required to reserve your desired training program and dates. Payment is required in full prior to the start of your training program.

Payments are accepted via cash, check, Venmo, Paypal or credit card.

Financing options are available and additional fees may apply.

Once a training program has been booked and dates reserved, refunds are not provided.

If a training program needs to be rescheduled, the full value of the program must be used within 90 days.

Dog training is a team effort. We strongly recommend all members of the household participate in training sessions.
